About the 2010 Winter Games

   

The 2010 Winter Games will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia. There are 17 days of Olympic events starting February 12, 2010 and concluding February 28, 2010. The Paralympic Games take place over a 10 day period commencing on March 12 and concluding March 21, 2010.

Over 5500 Olympic Games athletes and 1350 Paralympic Games athletes are expected for the Games with over 80 countries participating. The Games will be broadcast to over 3 billion television viewers worldwide.
